Reminds me of a video I was recently watching, where Quazi talks about Just control your “attention” & reality is yours. He talks about Aikido – A modern Japanese art of fight, where you utilize the momentum of the attacker to use it against them. No energy was made or destroyed by you, you just channeled the flow of the existing force. That is only possible when you have your eyes and ears open. Elite awareness of your surrounding.
Awareness is where you become ONE with your immediate surrounding.
How to elevate your awareness, you may ask?
It is so stupidly simple, you will laugh until your gut hurts.
GET BORED. EVERYDAY.
Visit your childhood, where you took no pressure of the past or the future, and you daydreamt like a maniac. Drool drooping down your wide-open mouth, wondering how the sun is so tiny when it is the biggest star in the solar system. Damn, those were the days.
Boredom is the pause you need, to digest the bombarded pixels of information you receive non-stop every day. Boredom helps you REST.
And by boredom, I don't mean the American standard of boredom, where you pick up a book to again thrust your brain with thoughts manufactured by someone else. No, I mean the boredom where you allow yourself to be you again. You do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING and just sit or walk or stare your cat in the eye. Just do nothing. Be silent. Have a maun-vrat. Keep your eyes and ears open, pushing your awareness to the top of your head. Slowly forgetting your body and merging with your environment.

We can talk about science all day long, but my only suggestion would be to try it for yourself. I stand for experience, and experience only. What works for you, may not work for me.
Now, this will be boring in the get-go. Your heart will race faster than a Mustang. Your brain will go into a shock, it won't know what to process or what to do. LET IT. Simmer down the anxious phase, go pass the 25th minute, and you peel off the layers that were never you.

I try to be as bored as possible when I am off the screen. Getting a couple of hours of boredom in a day is something I am familiar with. And let me tell you, my patience grew at the speed of light. The pause I take helps me slow down time mystically.
